Resorts Makes $4 Million Dollar Deposit
Riverhead Resorts has made a $4 million dollar down payment on their 755 acre resort program for EPCAL. Attorney for Resorts states that construction will begin in 2010 and open in 2013.
Meanwhile the F1 Go Kart Proposal is in limbo having been dealt a setback in one procedural stage.
Supervisor says Route 58 will be widened starting next year. Cardinale says he has confirmation from the County that the roadway construction will actually begin in 2009.
Watching CSPAN can sometimes be very enlightening or disheartening. For example: while we have been getting angry and very excited about gasoline prices (not to mention the heating oil prices looming in a few months) Congress has been extremely busy on many important matters. On Tuesday if you tuned into the House of Reps, various Representaives were taking the floor passing resolutions about tributes to Mandella and to the Alvin Ailey Dance Troupe with our own Tim Bishop leading the way on the latter. Our founding fathers must be spinning like tops.
New Jersey has many fine, hard working citizens who either commute within the state or out of the state on a daily basis. Gas prices must be killing them just as they are killing us. Tell me why do they elect such an obstructionist as Senator Menendez(D) who is doing everything he can to stop drilling anywhere?
Hats off to Mary Landrieu, Senator (D) from Louisiana, who wants drilling now and doesn't care if Reid or Pelosi hear what she says.
