The Preserve Journal endorses.
The Preserve Journal endorses Mary Meyer for election to the Riverhead School Board. Mrs Meyer has been active in civic affairs and is a co-founder of the Suffolk County 9-12 Project. The Journal believes that in view of the recent and untimely $123 million dollar bond issue proposed by the present school board, that new thinking with fiscal responsibility must be shown by the board in these tough economic times.
