Late Blight Continues
Cornell Extension advises that the late blight disease found on tomato and potato plants earlier in the spring continues to be found on North Fork farms and gardens.  The problem is that the spores on the plants can easily blow onto other nearby plants and destroy them as well. the Cornell Extension has an excellent page on their website including numerous photos of the disease making it easier for the novice to spot the problem on their own plants.
