Sub-division Plan Update

The sub-division plan for the Mastronardi property (immediately east of The Preserve, 22 homes on 49 acres) has been redrawn and resubmitted to the Town for approval. You may recall our objection to the original plan wherein we objected to the cutting through of the cul-de-sac to provide access to the new development. Apparently our objections were heard and resulted in the new configuration. Examination of the new plan shows the elimination of the cut-through (or tap street) and the expansion of the two parcels (#15 & #16) on the Mastronardi side of the boundary. It does include, however, a tap street from the Mastronardi parcel into the undeveloped Manzi property which borders the landfill.

It would be wise to keep an eye on this subdivision and check future Planning agendas to make certain we have representation when it comes before the Board again, (this time with Town engineer comments). The Planning Board meets on the first Thursday of each month with agendas published several days beforehand.
