Senate Meets in Extraordinary Energy Session
The United States Senate met in an extraordinary session on Saturday hoping to pass legislation that would put in motion a variety of ideas and proposals to solve the current energy crisis.
Despite eloquent pleadings by Senators Tom Coburn, (Oklahoma), Jeff Sessions (Alabama), Lanar Alexander (Tennessee) and Domenici (New Mexico), all proposals to allow at least a discussion by the Senate on solving the gas crisis was met with a stern objection (as directed by Harry Reid (Nevada) the majority leader who won't even allow these bills and amendments to come to the floor.
No one should ever forget how the American people are being treated by this hapless body and especially remember the culprits in November.
