Too often our servicewomen serving overseas aren't given the same attention when it comes to sending out holiday packages at this time of year. Debbie Tenzer's great project "Do One Nice Thing" is trying to take care of that. Click on the title above to go to Debbie's site and read about it.
The site also spells out some other needs as well. Kids in Detroit need some help this time of year and of course the Backpack Brigade in Inez Kentucky has been providing food for the weekends when kids don't seem to have any other source.

There have been many statements, rumors and comments regarding the Riverhead Board of Education plan to construct new classrooms for the Middle School, move administrators to the Roanoke School and construct new sports fields, parking areas and conduct repairs.
