10/29 Just in: Riverhead Resorts says they will give the Town almost $4 million dollars in overdue payments next week as a deposit for the 755 acres of land contracted at EPCAL. Board Member Jodi Giglio still favors terminating this contract.
Mixed Results on Election Polls
Election polls both locally and across the nation are giving. very mixed reports. Paladino is behind in his race against Andrew Cuomo but exactly where he stands is not clear. He has picked up a lot of support recently especially on Long Island.
Zeldin-Foley Neck and Neck
The race between Lee Zeldin and Brian Foley for the NY Senate seat is very tight and each is hoping to pull out a win on Tuesday. A win by Zeldin would be huge for consrvatives and Tea Party members who have been in Zeldin's corner ever since he ran for the Tim Bishop congressional seat in CD-1.
News-Review Endorses Incumbents
It was predictable. The liberal leaning Riverhead News-Review has endorsed all of the incumbent Democrats including Tim Bishop, Marc Alessi and Andrew Cuomo.
