42 Calverton homes and businesses were without power on Tuesday morning just one day after it was announced that power had been restored to all homes and businesses on the Island. Authorities were expecting to have power restored by 1:30 in the afternoon.
School is Back in Session
Drive carefully. Watch for the kids. Stay back from school buses and stop when you see their caution lights followed by the flashing red lights whether the school bus is on your side or the other side of the road.
