Riverhead Dr. Jesse Stoff was arrested on September 9 on charges of conspiracy to commit medical billing fraud following indictment by a grand jury.
Day Care Center gets License Back
The Riverhead Kiddie Academy, a day care center, has had its license reinstated following correction of major violations. The owners will attend a hearing on the remaining charges.
Nassau and The Coliseum
A major redesign of the Nassau Coliseum and surrounding properties has been introduced by architects and major business interests which would completely renovate the sports facility, add more seats, a public skating area and much more. The cost of the project is estimated at $345 million dollars. The plan would keep the Islanders in place as Long Island's only professional hockey team.
