April 27....747 with Shuttle Enterprise aboard leaves Washington (Dulles) on the way to New York.

In two months Enterprise will be placed on a barge from JFK and  placed aboard the Intrepid in New York harbor.

YMCA to EPCAL...working

The Peconic YMCA has received lots of resistance to their plans to construct a YMCA facility in Aquebogue. They have now been given an offer of a site in EPCAL near the Grumman Park.  YMCA authorities are now extremely interested in the offer and have agreed to formulate the basics of site placement and construction.  This is not completely firm and is strictly in the preliminary stages.

Dog Park to Open at EPCAL.

The Town will officially open a dog park site in  EPCAL on Saturday, April 28.
