Timely Event on History Channel
You may have been fortunate to see History Channel's telecast of three biographies in September 17, which was, of course, the anniversary of Constitution Day.
The first was a great portrait of the first president and his contributions to our heritage. The second, a no-holds barred bio of Benjamin Franklin, who although somewhat of a philanderer, had a strong work ethic in his early years and wisdom that few possessed. The third was of Thomas Jefferson, who although at odds with Washington and John Adams at times, was a brilliant patriot and a great believer in this new country.
It would be difficult to find contemporary men who could compare to these founding fathers.
