Rally to Bust 2% Cap
A rally was held yesterday hoping to influence a change in the New York State mandated 2% cap on all municipal and school budgets. What is heard time and again is that the 2% cap is unsustainable. Could it be that these politicos and school board members just haven't gotten the message that people are at the breaking point when it comes to taxes and that somewhere, somehow, something has to give? Don't agree much with anything Andrew Cuomo says or does but this time on this issue he got it right. Wonder how long he can hold on and stand up to these special interests.
