StateThrows Flag on 3 Riverhead Schools
New York State has named three Riverhead schools as not having met NY State standards of education.

The Aquebogue and Phillips Avenue elementary schools have scored low in math and English testing.  Riverhead High School has not met State standards for graduation rate.

The State and local school authorities have called more local assistance (from parents) to improve grades and help to inspire greater graduation rate.
