Riverhead Police Considering Merge With Suffolk
News day is reporting that almost half of the Riverhead police officers are interested in merging the the local police force with the Suffolk Police.  No further word on whether this will be considered or voted on by the police union or Riverhead Board .

Medical Marijuana in Riverhead.?
Columbia, a medical marijuana company has made a presentation before The Board seeking a location to establish a dispensing facility in the town.  The company claims that NY State has given the authority and a deadline.  Both Supervisor Walter and board member Gabrielsen are seeking  a moratorium on implementation
