Changes Coming to Riverhead

Multiplex movie theater is being considered for the old WalMart location (east of Ostrander).  Several existing stores may have to move if the proposal is approved.

Medical diagnostic center is under construction in the Walmart Center on route 58 directly in front of Bobs furniture.

An assisted living center for seniors has been proposed for the vacant property just behind Home Depot.  Local farmers and residents have made comments before the Town Board on the project.

A medical marijuana dispensary is open and operating at a facility at the east end of route 58.
