Just drive through Virginia and the beautiful Shenandoah Valley to appreciate the beauty and wonder of this great country. The recent July 4th Weekend is a special reminder of that greatness.

Tea Party Success
The Tea Part events held across the country on July 4th were a huge success despite the lack of reporting by the media. Not even Fox told the story. There were some 25,000 to 35,000 people at the Dallas protest and similar showings across the country.

Are We Long Islanders Plain Stupid or What?
Just paid 2.34 per gallon of unleaded in Central Texas. There is something wrong here and someone should make an issue of it.

Sarah Palin
Neither the media, talking heads or Dem strategists will destroy Sarah Palin. Her decision to resign is unusual but will not take away from her aura.

NY State is the laughing stock of the nation (just behind California). Repairs start at home.
