Lobster Roll Will Stay
The owner and operator of the Lobster Roll restaurant on Sound Avenue in Baiting Hollow has announced that the Lobster Roll restaurant will remain in the present location and will continue to operate along with the shopping center.

Deer Hunt at EPCAL
The town will allow deer hunting at EPCAL for a short 11 day period
from January 9-21.  A lottery for a limited number of permits will be held at Townhall on December 19.

Suffolk OTB Bankruptcy Invalid?
Federal Bankruptcy Judge Carla Craig has declared that the Suffolk OTB bankruptcy filing under Chapter 9 was prepared incorrectly and therefore, the OTB does not have the protection which it had sought.  Most of the OTB betting parlors had been closed with just a few remaining open.  The status of those which remained open, in view of the current ruling by Judge Craig is now in question.

Islip Supervisor (elect) Wants Resignations
Newly elected Islip Town Supervisor Tom Croci (R) has asked that 25 townwide department heads tender their resignation to the new administration along with another letter requesting an evaluation if they desire to remain in the town government following the new administration takeover in January.
