Supervisor Sean Walter (R) will be opposed by Dem nominee Angela DeVito for the Riverhead exec job in Nov.

Meanwhile Ann Cotten-Degraasse, current school board president has vowed to oppose DeVito in a Democratic primary.

Democrats Bill Bianchi and Mildred Thomas have been nominated for town council opposing Republicans Jodi Giglio and John Dunleavy.

Anthony Palumbo (R) of New Suffolk will run for the vacant assembly seat formerly held by Dan Losquadro.  Democrats have yet to settle on their nominee although Jim Waters, owner of Waters Crest winery is a leading contender.
