Firehouse Sale
The Town Board has agreed to sell the vacant Second Street firehouse to Bob Castaldi  for $500,000. On a vote of 4-1 the board finally agreed to the sale to Castaldi, owner of the Suffolk Theater on Main Street.  Board member Judy Giglio voted against the sale contending that an appraisal in 2009 established the value at $1.8 million dollars.  Not clear how Castaldi will use the property.
