Nothing New Around Here !

As I drove passed the Reclamation Project this morning, "The Donald" , (my name for the giant smoke stack on the asphalt plant) was pumping out a steady and voluminous spewing of smelly smoke. It seemed to be moving high and northeasterly in direction. That didn't last long. The wind changed direction and sent that stuff over the Preserve and probably The Manors as well.

Nancy detected the offensive odors (and who knows what else is in that cloud) and after contacting Mark Kennedy, fired off a strong letter to the Town asking why they have not as yet lived up to the many promises of a plant shutdown. Time to turn up the watchdog alert meter. Followup with calls or e-mails whenever offensive odors are detected in our community. I know they would like us to go away or be quiet and we will, .............. BUT - NOT IN THIS LIFE!
