Celebrating Our Freedom - July 4th, 2006

In historical terms, July 4th, 1776, is not so long ago. In that relatively short time period America has fought in countless wars defending itself and many others as well. The signers of the Declaration of Independence faced uncertainty and possible ruin for their courageous act. Many lost their homes, families and personal wealth as a result. Countless Americans have lost their lives for our freedom and in the defense of others. In 1973 Gordon Sinclair, a Canadian broadcaster, tired of people bashing America wrote an essay about our country and our critics. Please take a few minutes to read or listen to his essay.
