Regular in Riverhead Now $3.79 a Gallon
Forget the national "average" price that you hear on news programs. This is the real world and there is no end in sight.
Not a single elected official, presidential candidate or energy company officer is speaking out about this.
There has not been a single proposal or directive from Washington to help resolve this serious issue.
The monumental cost to truckers is driving up the price of food and goods everywhere. Thw owners of 18 wheelers have been paying over $4.00 per gallon for diesel for sometime now.
100 octane or jet fuel are out of sight and causing airlines to merge, shut down or declare bankruptcy. Airline tickets are going up sharply as flight availability is reduced.
WHO WILL STEP UP TO THE PLATE AND DO SOMETHING?
