Senate Nixes Drilling Once Again
The U.S. Senate voted down a proposal for domestic drilling for oil. Meanwhile the American public is convinced that domestic drilling is the most likely way to get out of the present oil/gasoline crisis.

The Drill Here, Drill Now, Pay Less petition has been gathering huge interest and the originators (Newt Gingrich and American Solutions) have already presented more than 350,000 petitions to the Senate with more signing on every day

Hampton Jitney Makes Presentation
Two members of the Hampton Jitney Corporation made a presentation of a terminal storage and maintenance facility which they are proposing for a 14 acre parcel on Edwards Avenue adjacent to the Calverton Links. The presentation was made before the Calverton Civic Association at a meeting on June 11.
