Roadways at the Burman EPCAL industrial subdivision will be completed by September. The incomplete status forced the Town to threaten to call in the bond which prompted the builder to complete the paving job.
Gregory Blass - New Social Services Commissioner
The County legislature will announce that Gregory Blass, former Family Court Judge will be named to the position of Social Services Commissioner for Suffolk County.
Lee Zeldin Wants Apology From Foley
U.S. Army veteran and former candidate for Congress, Lee Zeldin is demanding an apology from State Senator Brian Foley. It has been reported that Foley refused to stand for the Pledge of Allegiance in the Senate Chambers. Zeldin, a very vocal supporter of service men and women and the sacrifices they have made for this country, is very offended by Foley's actions and wants him to apologize to all New Yorkers and particularly to the residents of Suffolk and Brookhaven Town.
Wealthy Businessman Shuts Down Atlanta Tea Party
Tax Day Tea Party is reporting that the highly successful Atlanta Tea Party (which gathered over 20,000 on April 15) may not be able to repeat itself on July 4th as planned. Seems that the mall location in Atlanta is owned by a major corporation whose chairman is a major contributor to the Obama campaign. Any connection? You think? Someone feeling the heat?
Atlanta is working on an alternate location.
