Obama Health Care Plan Called "A Disaster"
Betsy McCaughey Ross, former Lt Governor of NY State has called the Obama/Dem Health Care Plan a disaster for all Americans and especially for seniors. McCaughey, a recognized expert in the field of healthcare, has publicly denounced the plan and urged citizens to contact their representatives to vote "NO".
You may recall that McCaughey exposed the Hillary Healthcare Plan for what it was and almost singlehandidly brought it down with her famous article "NO EXIT".
The New York Post has put some accountants on the case and they have concluded that tax rates for New Yorkers will skyrocket if the plan is passed and for those living in the 5 boroughs of NY City, their tax rates will be the highest in the nation.
Tax Day Tea Party, after investigating draft forms of the bill is predicting catastrophic results if the the bill is passed. While it is generally accepted that Republicans will stand fast and oppose the legislation, Tax Day Tea Party is urging all Americans to contact "Blue Dog Democrats" who may also side with the public on this issue.
NRA Opposes Sotomayor Nomination
NRA Statement:
"We believe any individual who does not agree that the Second Amendment guarantees a fundamental right and who does not respect our God-given right of self-defense should not serve on any court, much less the highest court in the land. Therefore, the National Rifle Association of America opposes the confirmation of Judge Sonia Sotomayor to the position of Associate Justice of the United States Supreme Court".
