Important Health Note
Doctors caution that quick action could save someone from the devastating effects of a stroke.
If you suspect that someone may be experiencing the initial signs of stroke take the following action.

1.  Ask the person to smile. They may not be able to perform this basic function.
2.  Ask the person to raise their arms over the head. Inability to perform this simple task is a sign.
3.  Ask the person to repeat a sentence that you say to him/her. Slurring words is a traditional sign of a problem.
4.  Ask the person to stick out his/her tongue. If the person sticks it out to one side or the other rather straight, they may be having a problem.

Get medical help quickly.  Extremely important to a potential stroke victim.
