Riverhead Town Councilwoman Jodi Giglio has suggested that the East End towns of Long Island consider a consolidation of their police forces in order to save on spending and administration.

Skip Heaney, the former Supervisor of Southampton has indicated that he may be interested in running for the Suffolk County Legislature.
Hariri Considering run for Riverhead Supervisor
Attorney Ron Hariri, a North Fork resident is considering a run for the Riverhead Town Supervisor. Mr Hariri, a frequent caller to talk radio segments on local station WRIV 1390 has been critical of the job being done by current Supervisor Sean Walter.
