Gen Dwight D. Eisenhower' speech to U.S. forces on D-Day June 6, 1944

Town Signs New EPCAL Pact
Riverhead has entered into an agreement with RKG Associates for an "updated market study for re-use and revitalization" of the property known as EPCAL. The contract calls for a flat payment of $47,500.

This agreement is in addition to the current agreement with VHB Engineering for a planning study on the same property with a cost of over $400,000.

I'm getting dizzy with all these contracts. Doesn't the town have some talented, professionals people who can perform these tasks? Just asking.

This and that:

Riverhead authorizes Farmers Market every Thursday starting July 7 and through the season.  Location on town riverfront property.

Next Town Board Meeting, June 14  at 7 PM  (Town Hall.

Summer jobs:
Town has authorized call-in recreation attendants and call-in lifeguards for the summer season.
