The proposal, which will be heard by the Board in detail on Thursday is supposed to provide enough electric energy for the Town to partially pay for the Town's annual power bill which is over $2 million dollars.
The Town engineers have indicated that it could participate in the project by leasing the land for such purposes for about $500 thousand dollars a year.

Meanwhile the Bishop McGann-Mercy Monarchs , in an exciting season ending game, defeated The Porters of Greenport 28-23.
