Boehner Survives Speaker Vote
John Boehner (R Ohio) won reelection as Speaker of the House of Representatives. Nancy Pelosi (D) was second in the voting.  Three Reublicans who sought to oust Boehner could not muster enough votes to do the job.  Boehner sailed by with a 41 vote margin.

This is starting to look like just more of the same.  The House and Senate will soon pass the XL Pipeline bill, but Obama says that he will veto it.

The reps who voted with Boehner may soon regret their decision.
