State Senator Lee Zeldin has opened a Riverhead campaign office at 127 W. Main Street.  Zeldin is campaigning to unseat congressman Tim Bishop (D).

Suffolk Police Contracts
The New York Post is reporting that contracts have been prepared for the Suffolk County police uniformed officers and for the detectives which would give them both significant pay increases.  The contracts will require the approval of the state legislature.

Snow Again.
Another heavy snow storm is expected to hit the northeast beginning on Sunday afternoon (Mar 2) and extending into Monday.  Forecasters are predicting upwards of 8 inches of snow for the Island.

PSEG - No Safari
Pay your bills on the internet?  Caution: when attempting to make a payment on the PSEG site (LIPA).  The site will not allow you to use Safari (the Apple browser commonly found on the Ipad or Mac computers.)  No word whether they intend to change this in the future.  It would be nice if they did.

How to Win Friends (NOT)
Once again Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid has decided to insult the American people by calling all those who have reported loss of insurance plans, very high increases in premiums or inability to sign on to Obamacare a bunch of liars.  Same goes for Patty Murray and Chucky Schumer. This is the new tactic to get back at critics.   Just fix the damn thing instead of compounding the problem.
