This Week

1.The Belmont Stakes.  Tonalist wins at 9-1.  Chrome tied for fourth.

2. D Day, The Sixth of June when hundreds of thousands of U.S. and Allied servicemen stormed the beaches of Normandy.  Many never left the beach and are now buried in Normandy, in the hills of France.  It is a day to remember their courage that was the beginning of the end of World War II.

3. The release of Bowe Bergdahl from so called captivity by the Taliban in Afghanistan.  The reciprocal release of 5 highly dangerous prisoners from Gitmo in return was one of the worst decisions by this administration and is being criticized by virtually everyone.
