Ed Denisieski, former Town Councilman who ran unsuccessfully for Highway Superintendent, has been named to the Riverhead Planning Board.
Supervisor Confirms Search for Town Hall
Supervisor Phil Cardinale, in a radio interview, has confirmed that the Town is actively searching out possible sites for a new Town Hall. He has included the old Riverhead Building Supply warehouses on Ostrander, the Elk's Lodge and other Riverhead Building Supply offices on Pulaski as potential building sites. He remains open to other suggestions.

The popular web site that promotes help for the military and their families now also requests assistance for a dental group that travels through the back country of Appalachia providing free dental examines and treatment for school children and their families. They drive an 18 wheeler equipped as a dental office and help as many as possible. The group needs help with supplies however, and would be grateful for any help they can get.. Motel Buyout
The Town Board will conduct a Public Hearing on January 15 at 7:10 pm to review the proposed purchase of the Weeping Willow Motel on West Main Street (.454 acres) for $1,250,000.
