Riverhead Charter School Extended For a Year
The NY State Board of Regents has accepted the charter school's proposal allowing the school to operate for another year. The school will no longer be operated by Edison Schools.

5 the last military airplane built on Long Island, an E-2C Hawkeye Advance Warning and Control plane, flew out of Northrop Grumman's Calverton facility. The Calverton facility once employed 3000 workers.

Helicopter Crashes Into Office Building in Panama
Yesterday, May 29, a helicopter crashed into a downtown office building in Panama City, Panama killing 11 people including the Police Chief of Chile.
QUESTION: Does there seem to be an increase in helicopter noise and traffic since the recent noise restrictions were put in place? Just asking.
