Time for a Second Cup of Tea?
Much to the dismay of everyone, the Tax Day Tea Parties on April 15 were a huge success. Regular folk across the land met and protested the misuse of the people's money with unmonitored giveaways putting generations of Americans into perpetual debt and unparalleled deficit. (Remember how no one in Congress got to read the bills but voted anyway?)
Eric Odom who put together the Tax Day idea following the rant of Rick Sentelli at the Chicago Board of Trade now suggests that Americans follow through with a new Tea Party initiative beginning on June 1 by concentrating on specific issues and local elections.
Odom suggests that you remain informed about your local issues and elections. Click on the Tea Party logo as well as the 912 Project so that you too can make a difference.
Do One Nice Thing (VIDEO)
Debbie Tenzer, the originator of the Do One Nice Thing project has done lots of nice things for school kids in need, whether in Iraq or in some of our own impoverished towns. She has also helped our men and women in service with gifts at holiday times or assisted them in helping school children in foreign countries with basic school supplies.
Support the NJROTC
Despite some unfavorable news this week when an official of the ROTC group was arrested on child pornography charges, the young men and women of the organization are good, decent Americans who are proud of their accomplishments and their uniform. Lend them your support.
