9-12 Suffolk Hopes to Force Primary
Members of the Suffolk County 9-12 Project and other conservative Tea Party groups are trying to force the Conservative Party to hold a primary for the CD-1 congressional seat held by Tim Bishop (D).  The 9-12ers have voiced their dissatisfaction with the selection of Randy Altschuler  as the Conservative Party candidate for the nomination.  9-12ers and other Tea Party activists believe that other candidates such as George Demos or Chris Cox are far more conservative than Altschuler and want to test their belief with a primary election this fall.  The 9-12 group is urgently soliciting help to secure sufficient signatures on a petition to force the primary on the Conservative Party.

Locals Enact Immigration Laws Too
Virginia's Prince William Board of Supervisors Chairman Corey Stewart will soon present an immigration law for Virginia, similar in content to the Arizona law.  Stewart challenges and invites Obama/Holder to file a law suit against Prince William County believing the Federal Government will lose.  The County is already well known for challenging illegals in it's jurisdiction.  The States of Rhode Island and Missouri already have laws similar to Arizona on the books.  Is this a trend for local jurisdictions?
