On September 11, 2001-19 Islamic radicals hijacked 4 U.S. aircraft, terrorized the passengers and crews aboard and then systematically crashed the airplanes into the World Trade Center, the Pentagon and in the fields of Pennsylvania. 

There is hardly a New Yorker who didn't have a friend, family member or acquaintance either aboard those ill fated airplanes or at work in the Trade Center or Pentagon that tragic day.

3000 innocent lives were taken that day on behalf of a radical cause that still takes American lives every day.  The Americans murdered on 9-11 and in the Middle East will never be forgotten.  Never!

And they want to build a mosque...where?

Board Extends Resorts Deal

Riverhead Resorts missed the payment deadline on Thursday 9/9 and was granted another extension by the Town Board.  Board member Jodi Giglio objected to the extension and wanted the contract ended.  Resorts is in contract with the Town of Riverhead to purchase and develop 755 acres of property at EPCAL. The agreement was for $108 million dollars.

Tax Increase 12% ????

The Town Supervisor has indicated that the Town will have a budget shortfall of about $5 million dollars for the coming year despite eliminating $1.5 million dollars in spending.  The result could well mean an increase in taxpayer property taxes of as much as 12%.
